A modern decision-support system for efficient management of sawmill in the Vologda region
Kharovsky Timber Industrial Complex was founded more than 100 years ago in 1919.
Today LLC "Kharovsklesprom", which is part of the holding "Vologda Timber Industrialists", is one of the largest timber industry enterprises in the city of Kharovsk and the Vologda Region.
The mill produces a variety of pine and spruce lumber, fuel pellets, and technological chips. The products are sold to various regions of Russia, and to many foreign countries. About 400 people are employed in production.
An agreement has been concluded for installing at LLC "Kharovsklesprom" the Opti-Sawmill system – a tool for planning, optimizing and managing production and sales, which would result in significant economic effect for the developing enterprise.
