Maintenance of planning systems at the world's largest sawmills
Ilim Nordic Timber (Wismar) and Ilim Timber Bavaria (Landsberg-am-Lech) are one of the largest sawmills in the world by processing volumes: 1,9 million and 1,5 million cubic meters of sawlogs per year respectively.
The Opti-Sawmill system at these sawmills is used for calculating the optimal monthly volume production plans, the optimal sales plans, the optimal sawlogs procurement plans based on preliminary orders, and for other functions.
The support agreements signed in November 2020 will allow factories to better respond to dynamically changing market environment and improve the enterprise operation.
